I put up my old ham radio propagation page. The little propagation status icon doesn’t work, but otherwise everything is still there.

I have been comparing 3 different versions of my favorite Mozart Symphony, #17 K.129, written when he was just a teen.

The 3 versions are:

• Mozart: The Symphonies/Academy of Ancient Music/Christopher Hogwood/Decca (RBCD)
• Mozart: Symphonies 15-18/ Northern Chamber Orchestra/Nicholas Ward/ Naxos (RBCD)

Yesterday morning I attempted to hammer out a post on my T-Mobile Sidekick. My fingers were all over that teeny keyboard. I got part way through it before my wrists started to hurt and it was time to stop. This is not the only gripe however.

Yesterday afternoon, I spent some time talking to a transfer counselor about my transfer situation. I ran out of time, so I will have to go back. It looks as if it won’t be possible for me to get a Transfer Agreement signed with any UC due to my grades. That’s how the cookie crumbles, I suppose. TAA’s don’t start until the summer anyway, so I have a bunch of time to ponder my situation.

I also tried to talk to a a regular counselor in the Counseling and Advising Center in order to file an educational plan. There was a line, their office was going to close in 30 minutes, and they no longer take appointments (They only do walk in advising near the end of the quarter). So, I get to go back to wait in line just to get advice that stinks. *sigh*

Now that I have my own blog, I really understand how people get sucked into it….. Even though this blog has only been shown to a few friends so far, I feel like I already have an audience that I am writing to, even though I am really only writing to myself, and for myself….

Maybe it’s just been too long since I have written anything…

Got a rejection notice from San Jose State University today. Said I needed Critical Thinking and Oral Communication. I really should visit the Transfer Center at De Anza tomorrow.. I bet there is a lot more that I need to take….

My friend told me that SJSU wants a WHOLE bunch of GE classes for CS Students….. guess what I’m doing next year? Honestly, I need to decide which school I want to go so I can file a TAA….

Tambourine, Lost Highway B0002528-02 sounds like absolute garbage.

Very very compressed. The high frequencies are horribly eq’ed. The sibilance is extremely exaggerated, kind of splatter all over the place. There is no dynamic range. It makes my ears hurt. (more…)

• Tambourine/Tift Merrit (RBCD)

The best so far… its toss up between Elton John, and Marriage of Figaro….
